Looking back over the festive season may we give a thought and thanks to all those who spent their time in the African bush whilst many of us spent the time celebrating and enjoying with friends and family.
Some may have been fortunate to have spent the time on Safari coming back home with unforgettable life time memories and experiences which would not have been possible without the contingent of Safari Lodge staff from Lodge Managers, Safari Guides to all the frontline, background staff members who through their passion and love of wildlife and Africa choose to spend this Festive time making it a special one for others visiting Africa to enjoy its wildlife.
Anyone who has worked or is working in this environment knows that at the end of the day, you are making a difference to the lives of others and this makes it easier being away from immediate family over this time. Being part of a safari lodge team feels like being part of family after all. Thanks to all you ladies and gentleman out there who make it special for others!
Another big thank you to all he Game Rangers, Conservationists and Anti-Poaching teams living out in the bush amongst the wildlife. Human/Wildlife Conflict and Poaching doesn’t stop or take a break despite the festivities.
Whilst most of us are celebrating in a comfortable and safe environment, think of those who sacrificed their time putting themselves on the front line in the face of danger at this special time of year to be with the wildlife, protecting it for us all to enjoy and not only for that reason but all animals deserve to enjoy life and live in peace, considering nature was here first.
Fighting for the beautiful creatures who have no real sense or understand of why they are being persecuted and targeted. Big thanks to all these dedicated Wildlife Warriors out there!
Wishing all of you a great 2020 ahead may it be a positive one for you and Nature! Lets get 2020 off to a super start. Take charge of your future, where you want to be and what you want to do in life is up to you.
